This is really simple for understanding percentage problems.

TO FIND:

PART

–      Cover the P
–      W (whole) is next to %
–      Multiply the whole by the percent (in decimal form)

WHOLE

–      Cover the W
–      P (part) is over the %
–      Divide the part by the percent (in decimal form)

PERCENT

–      Cover the %
–      P (part) is over the W (whole)
–      Divide the part by the whole and multiply by 100
