Apollo and Pythia at the Oracle of Delphi

Pythia“… It was here that the Olympian gods spoke to mortal men through the use of a priesthood, which interpreted the trance-induced utterances of the Pythoness or Pythia. She was a middle-aged woman who sat on a copper-and-gold tripod, or, much earlier, on the “rock of the sibyl” (medium), and crouched over a fire while inhaling the smoke of burning laurel leaves, barley, marijuana, and oil, until a sufficient intoxication for her prophecies had been produced.”

FROM ANCIENT EGYPT TO GREECE: TIS THINE OWN APOLLO REIGNS

According to the Greeks, the greatest outcome of the love affair between Zeus and Leto was the birth of the most beloved of the oracle gods—Apollo. More than any other god in ancient history, Apollo represented the passion for prophetic inquiry among the nations. Though mostly associated with classical Greece, scholars agree that Apollo existed before the Olympian pantheon and some even claim that this entity was first known as Apollo by the Hyperboreans—an ancient and legendary people to the north. Herodotus came to this conclusion and recorded how the Hyperboreans continued in worship of Apollo even after his induction into the Greek pantheon, making an annual pilgrimage to the land of Delos where they participtated in the famous Greek festivals of Apollo. Lycia—a small country in southwest Turkey—also had an early connection with Apollo, where he was known as Lykeios, which some have joined to the Greek Lykos or ‘wolf’, thus making one of his ancient titles, “the wolf slayer.”

Hermetic Divine triad

In Ancient Egyptian theology, divine triads were used to express the divine family-unit, usually composed out of Pharaoh (the son) and a divine couple (father & mother), legitimizing his rule as divine king. Pharaoh Akhenaten had introduced a monotheistic triad (exclusive and against all other deities) : Aten, Akhenaten and Nefertiti. In Heliopolis, the original triad was Atum, Shu and Tefnut, in Memphis, Ptah, Sekhmet and Nefertem emerged, whereas Thebes worshipped Amun, Mut and Khonsu. The trinity naturally developed into three or one Ennead.

In Hermetic triad reads as :

  • God, the Unbegotten One, the essence of being, the Father of All – the “Decad” ;
  • Nous, the First Intellect, the Self-Begotten One, the Mind or Light of God – the “Ennead” ;
  • Logos, the “son” from “Nous”, the Begotten One above the Seven Archons – the “Ogdoad”.

The One Entity or God (the “Tenth”) is known to Its creation as the One Mind or Hermes which contains the “noetic” root of every individual existing thing (cf. Plato, Spinoza). This Divine Mind (the attributes or names of the nameless God) allows all things to be sympathetic transformations (adaptations, modi) of God.

The Magic Square of the Sun

Magic square coins

magic squareThe earliest Christians were converted pagans. One of the arguments the early Church used to convert pagans to Christianity was that Jesus Christ had more solar attributes than any other god. His face was even reputed to shine like the sun (Matt 17:2). Examining the metaphorical logic of equating Jesus with Helios the Sun, one has to ask … is there any kind of logical reason or secret knowledge that the early Gnostic Christians were aware of to make these kind of comparisons? Is there some kind of a link between the raised Jesus (8880) and the Magic Square of the Sun whose number is 666?

The “magic square of the sun,” was one of the most important symbols used to represent the sun in antiquity because of all the symbolism it possessed involving the perfect number “6.” There are six sides to a cube, the numbers 1, 2, an 3, when added or multiplied together are equal to “6,” and the sum of all the numbers from 1 to 36 arranged in a 6×6 magic square are equal to the number “666.” The square is “magic” because the sum of any row, column, or diagonal is equal to the number “111.” After the Church became the state religion of the Roman empire, possessing the diagram below could get you burned at the stake!

How the names Jesus and Christ are linked to the number “666”

Jesus Christ numerology chart

When the risen Jesus (8880) is superimposed over the 6×6 gridwork of the Magic Square of the Sun some amazing things happen.

The circumference of each circle by calculation is 1480 units, the exact gematria value of the title Christ (CristoV = 1480)!

  • The sum of all the numbers in the field of the magic square of the sun (666) added to the sum of the numbers in the twelve Christ circles (222) is equal to the number of Jesus (888)!

The circled numbers on the magic square form the Greek letter “X” which is the “sign” of Christ.

Finally, the diagonal of each square that holds a Christ circle by calculation is “666” units!!!
